Ford Thunderbird Colonial White with Red Interior for sale in Beaverdam, Virginia

$4,000

1957 Thunderbird, Two tops; Power Steering; Power Brakes; Power Seat; Power Windows; Automatic; BF Goodrich Silvertown Bias Ply tires; Town and Country working radio. I am selling this car for a good friend who got the car as a birthday gift 7 years ago. He never drove the car very much, and it spent a lot of time in expensive storage. The odometer and the title say it is a low mileage vehicle. The data plate says it was built as a Coral Sand Z code which is pretty rare, and beautiful in its own right. I can't imagine anyone going to this kind of trouble to change the color to white, but it happens. There is no evidence anywhere that I can find that this car was ever painted Coral Sand, and I've looked hard-even under the sill plates, trunk, gas filler tube, under carriage. The markings on the car look original as you can see in the pictures, even one under the glove box that you'd have to search for. The car looks to have had a repaint at some point, but not the door jams or under the hood. The paint looks excellent but not perfect, certainly better than driver quality. There are no dings, dents or any noticeable scratches. Some prep sanding can be seen under florescent lights. The frame numbers match the data plate, and are easily seen. The power options all work, and even the mufflers say Ford on them. The chrome is incredibly preserved as is the under carriage. The interior is amazing. It drives down the road very well not withstanding what look like original bias ply tires.
